About Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door

Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door is a highly efficacious Mahayana Buddhist practice transmitted by Guan Yin Bodhisattva to deliver sentient beings in this modern age, suited to the karmic conditions and spiritual capacity of contemporary practitioners.

For over 30 years, Master Jun Hong Lu, founder and global advocate of this Dharma Door, has selflessly propagated its teachings through radio, public lectures, and the internet—never charging a single cent. His unwavering compassion and tireless efforts exemplify the boundless kindness and profound empathy of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, who saves all beings regardless of background or condition.

Guan Yin Citta emphasizes the Three Golden Practices: sutra recitation, making vows, and life liberation (fangsheng). These methods enable practitioners to awaken and help others, freeing themselves from suffering and illness, resolving conflicts and karmic obstacles, and cultivating wisdom and inner peace. Owing to its remarkable efficacy and swift results, Guan Yin Citta has touched the hearts of millions worldwide and continues to grow rapidly.

May more sentient beings of karmic affinity embark upon Guan Yin Bodhisattva’s vessel of salvation—to purify the mind, be free from suffering, transcend afflictions, dissolve karmic debts, deliver the departed, and widely benefit all beings, ultimately attaining rebirth in the Western Pure Land and advancing toward enlightenment.

About Master Jun Hong Lu

Founder of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door & Renowned Overseas Chinese Leader

Master Jun Hong Lu, the revered founder of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door and a patriotic leader of the overseas Chinese community, peacefully entered Nirvana on November 10, 2021, at 4:00 a.m. in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 62, having fulfilled his vows in this world.

Master Lu began his Dharma propagation in 1997 and formally founded Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door in 2006. Over decades of tireless dedication, he compassionately guided countless sentient beings across the globe from confusion and suffering toward the path of enlightenment. His footsteps of Dharma spread far and wide, leading millions to the Buddha’s teachings, reviving the lineage of wisdom, and extensively promoting Mahayana Buddhism across the Three Realms—his merits are immeasurable.

Throughout his extraordinary journey in this world, Master Lu endured hardships and gave selflessly to awaken faith in karma, dispel delusions, and illuminate minds. Even while in seclusion for health reasons, he remained steadfast and optimistic, persistently giving Dharma discourses on Buddhism in Plain Terms. Amid the global pandemic, he never forgot the suffering of all beings and continued to bless and teach the recitation of the Medicine Buddha’s Empowerment Mantra, helping disciples resist negative energy and shared karma.

Master Lu’s achievements in propagating Buddhism, preserving Chinese culture, and promoting interfaith harmony gained international recognition. He was repeatedly invited to deliver speeches by UNESCO and was highly respected in global religious and cultural circles. As a devoted patriotic figure, he made outstanding contributions to China-Australia relations over three decades of service to the community.

Following in the footsteps of the Buddha and embodying the compassionate vows of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Master Lu offered his life to all beings, taking on their sufferings with complete selflessness. His passing marked the fulfillment of his vows and attainment of Buddhahood. Though his physical body has departed, his Dharma body lives on, and his compassionate light continues to shine across the world.

His unfinished Dharma mission now rests with all of us—disciples and Dharma friends—who are called to carry on his aspirations, uphold the teachings of Guan Yin Citta, and ensure that the Dharma flame burns bright for generations to come.
