About Our
Organization

Guan Yin Citta (NZ) Charitable Trust is the only officially registered Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door Buddhist charity in New Zealand, based in Auckland. It promotes Buddhist values through practices like sutra recitation, making vows, and life liberation, aiming to purify the mind and overcome karmic obstacles. The Trust runs public programs such as the annual Vegetarian Carnival, wellness talks, and children's language classes to support community well-being and cultural heritage. Inspired by Guan Yin Bodhisattva, it seeks to connect Buddhist wisdom with the wider public to foster peace and happiness.
